As was the custom at the time, Anna and Jack packed up and moved to a remote part of Australia. Unfortunatly, it didn't go so well.

The locals don't like them and their city mates show little interest in visiting. As a joke, they invent Joe and Michelle, imaginary locals who do want to be their friends.

What starts out as a bit of fun grows into something more suited to the depths of hell. It leads Jack and Anna to abandon their lonely reality and embrace the mysteries of love.
